The Church of Our Rapture was an evangelical doomsday cult who were supposed to take their own lives by imbibing poisoned drinks. Instead they were all overwritten by Travelers to serve as tactical support in the mission to prevent Helios-685 from striking Earth. They were composed of 15 individuals, all of advanced age. Mission: Helios-685 Tactical Support[]
The team all arrived in the 21st century with no misfires. However, they were in Canada, a considerable distance from the mission venue: the Van Huizen Corporation premises in Washington, USA. They therefore used the cult's bus to travel there, with several members marveling along the way at plants and animals that no longer exist in the future they came from.
The group were briefly held up at the border due to expired passports, but the issue was resolved and they were able to arrive just after all non-essential personnel were sent away. Arming themselves with weapons supplied by the Core Traveler Team, they were supposed to guard against any possible interference in the plan.
Hostiles arrived in the form of Major Gleason and two vehicles' worth of black ops operatives: the Travelers put up a defense, but they were hampered by Protocol 3, and not actually allowed to kill. They kept shooting just off target. Gleason eventually realized this and exploited it to carve a path to the antimatter containment room, killing several Travelers. The remaining Travelers laid down covering fire to let the core team and Dr. Delaney escape before the antimatter detonation destroyed the facility.

- Numerous actors in Travelers also had roles in the Stargate franchise, both of which had Brad Wright as an executive producer. One of the background actors, Bill Y.W. Butt, portrayed several background characters in the spin-offs.
