Michelle was a member of the Faction who sought to recruit Traveler 001 for their cause.
Averted Death[]
As a Faction member, Michelle was either someone who was forcibly overwritten by the quantum frame or a formerly loyal Traveler who turned traitor.
Biography[]
Along with Dawn, Michelle orchestrated an operation to intercept 001's current host Dr. Katrina Perrow while she's in transit. However, Dr. Perrow suffered a car accident and was brought to Coastal Cross Hospital, prompting the Faction to sneak her out of there. At a more secure location Michelle monitored Perrow's vitals and informed Dawn they need more advanced equipment to find out the extent of the doctor's injuries. In a moment of anger, Michelle argued they shouldn't have chased her down and caused the accident in the first place.
When Perrow regained consciousness Michelle helped Dawn explain why they need her. The Faction lost contact with the future and they were running out of resources. Later during a sidebar, Michelle informed Dawn 001 had worsening internal injuries and brain trauma, noting he won't last a day without surgical intervention. She recommended finding 001 a new host.
Perrow activated her failsafe tracker that should bring her forces (and consciousness transfer device) to her location. Michelle knew what she did and told her they need her alive more than anything. As the reinforcements drew closer Perrow started having nosebleeds and Michelle reckoned she had a ruptured aneurysm, additionally having a stroke. Michelle gave her smelling salts in an effort to keep her awake, shortly hearing Perrow has lost her vision. However, the reinforcements shortly arrived but they had orders to treat everyone but their boss hostile: Michelle was shot in the head, the first casualty in the brief skirmish between Faction members at the scene and 001's forces.
